Welcome to Uplinklounge.com, a haven for free thinkers, intellectuals, and the modern artist. Oh, and hackers, dataminers, and you.
Uplinklounge was started in 2002 while our original members attended the Wayne County Schools Career Center, otherwise known as the local concentration camp for intelligent people. We used to be at lesrahpem.homelinux.org. The original purpose of The Lounge, as we call it, was to act as a way for the people in our Cisco networking class to keep in touch outside of school and over the summer. From there we became a provider of ways around the school's censorship and a place to voice concerns over rights violations and the general BS that goes on in modern American schools.
The name Uplinklounge comes from our other founding member, Conducting Menace. He's still around some times, but he's mostly moved on to other projects. For a time, we both worked for a company called Quasimoto, where we developed a new platform for arcade systems. He still works for those assholes and bigots, whereas I quit last year in January. If you're reading this, don't ever work for them. They will likely screw you over. - Iadnah
